Editor’s choice: Hadassah Reinvents Medical Tourism…

Visiting Jerusalem this coming Passover? Here’s a new insider tip just for you…

It’s the city’s best kept secret – a lovely little nature hike called the Hadassah Walkway.

Yup – it’s Medical Tourism like you never imagined…

The Hadassah trail is a beautiful and convenient way to explore the lovely scenery around Hadassah Hospital. The trail is marked throughout and in some parts crosses the famous Jerusalem Trail. All you guys need to bring is a pair of hiking boots, water and the trail map which can be downloaded at the Hadassah Hospital website.

Now the really nice thing about this nature trail is the fact that it’s a generous contribution to the community made by the Hadassah Hospital. A dedicated crew of volunteers made this idea come true by cleaning, weeding and marking the walkway – all as a part of the amazing “Green Hadassah” project that situates Hadassah hospital on the eco-friendly map.

* You guys can start the trail at the Hospital’s parking lot, and even do a quick detour into the Jerusalem Trail. The Hadassah Walkway takes anywhere between 30 minutes to two hours – depending on the trail chosen.

Have fun and keep it green!
